A compact flower vase in an organic bud form — for dried flowers and elegant small bouquets.
Hand-carved grooves on the upper surface, raised dot relief on the lower — two different textures on one piece, both inviting to touch. The purple glaze plays in the light and reveals blue, turquoise, and pink tones depending on the direction of the light. The narrow neck holds a bouquet exactly in place. Hand-shaped in small batches — no two exactly alike.
Maker’s note
I wanted to create a vase with an organic form — something we see in nature every day. Simple and very beautiful, recognisable and needing nothing added. A flower bud fits that description perfectly. In this vase I capture the moment of opening — the petals have already appeared, but are still waiting for the moment to show themselves in full.
