CERANZZA - The joy you can hold

Welcome to the world of handmade ceramics – a place where shape, touch and color become one.
I am delighted that you have come to CERANZZA.

Let me introduce myself:

Hello. My name is Anna and I am a ceramicist.

Before entering the world of ceramics, I worked with chocolate for over 12 years and created the brand Chocelite, which has now grown into an independent project and continues to develop without my direct involvement. This experience gave me a deep understanding of shape, taste, tactility and product as something that is not just an object, but also an experience.

Today, I work under the Ceranzza brand and I am on a new path as a ceramic artist. For me, it’s about combining aesthetics, meaning and technology – creating objects that not only have function, but also character.

What am I creating?

I create handcrafted ceramic tableware and home decor – objects with a special character, designed to last. These are not fragile “shelf items”, but things designed for everyday use that will become a natural part of the home over time.

All the ceramics are made from clay, which turns into a solid mass of stone when fired. It’s durable, practical and timeless. Glazes are applied in multiple layers to give objects depth and shine, simplify maintenance and enhance their decorative effect.

In addition to the artistic side, I also do a lot of technical work: testing, combining, layering glazes and chemicals and studying their behaviour in the firing process.

Freedom to create and experiment

Before ceramics – and long before I started a chocolate brand – I studied chemistry in depth and intended to dedicate my life to science. In ceramics, these two sides have finally come together: the creator and the explorer are no longer opposites. This gives me the freedom to experiment with the chemical compositions of the glazes and to transfer the best results to the finished objects.

Each colour solution is the result of dozens of experiments, analysis of mistakes and the search for new possibilities. I want my clients to receive truly unique items, not repetitive and predictable solutions.

Everything I create come from the ideas and images that live in my head long before I touch the clay. I don’t use molds. The world around us is made up of similar, but never identical shapes – and artisan ceramic is a natural part of that world. It may be a little imperfect, but for me it is the honest beauty.
