Tall, heavy, and stable — the upper part soft with opening petals, the lower part grounded and strong.
The upper section shows an elegantly opening poppy with pink petals — gentle, moving, sensitive. The lower section is grounded, almost brutal — stylised poppy head facets that give the form weight and character. The glaze carries multiple tones that shift with the light. Hand-formed, one of a kind.
Maker’s note
This vase holds everything that exists in every person — tenderness, emotion, and at the same time strength and character that holds the core. I see in it a woman who cannot be broken and who can be many things. The glaze carries as many shades as the character of whoever will own it. Not all of them can be named — they can only be seen.
