Hand-formed raised dot relief creates a rhythmic pattern through which the glaze moves freely, pools in the grooves, and forms natural runs and darker areas. The palette is inspired by ocean depths — a deep, cool, layered blue that comes alive in the light. Hand-shaped in small batches — no two exactly alike.
Maker’s note
The inspiration for this darker series came from the ocean where colour turns deep and movement slows. The glaze moves freely between the relief, pooling and reacting during firing — a process that cannot be fully controlled. That is why every plate is unrepeatable.
